Please read the conditions below carefully before using our website as they affect your rights and liabilities under United Kingdom law.  By making a purchase with us via this website or by phone or fax or in person at our trading address then you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  None of the Terms & Conditions below in anyway affect your Statutory Rights.

The Contract Between Us
Sew-Unique must receive payment for the whole of the amount for the goods that you ordered, before your order can be accepted through this website.  Sew-Unique will accept your order once it has been authorised by our Card Company (Paypal) regardless of which method that you use for payment e.g credit or debit card, cheque, postal order etc.  By ordering goods from us you will have deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Pricing
Before the contract is concluded:

  • Sew-Unique guarantees that the prices shown at the time of ordering are always the current price and these are the prices you will be expected to pay.
  • You will be required to pay extra for delivery and this will be calculated during the order process. Please note it is not always possible for us to deliver to some destinations.

Payment Methods
Sew-Unique would prefer that you paid for you order via our website using secure Paypal facility. However you can also pay by cheque if you would prefer, just make sure that the cheques are made payable to S Watt and send it with your order to our address shown in this website.  Please allow an additional 7 working days for this payment method to be cleared.

If you live locally, you can make arrangements to place an order with us and collect it.  This will save you from incurring any of the delivery costs.

Accuracy of Information
Sew-Unique makes every effort to ensure that all information published on this web site during the ordering process is up to date and correct.  However Sew-Unique will not be liable to you/or any third party for any consequential or incidental damages (including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of profits, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) whatsoever that arises out of or are related to the use of this web site and/or any the information contained within it.

Details about Delivery
Your order should then be with you within approximately seven working days, again subject to stock availability. Actual delivery times vary depending on destination.

All orders are subject to a fixed delivery charge of £5.00 for UK and EEC delivery.  When goods have been dispatched and have left our premises this means that we have incurred delivery costs and they are therefore non-refundable.

Delivery Method
Goods will be despatched via Royal Mail.

Customs (Overseas Orders)
If you are ordering goods for delivery overseas please beware that you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination.  Any additional charges duties or taxes are your responsibility and must be borne by you. It is also your responsibility to ensure that any such import complies with all laws and regulations of the country.  We will not be responsible for any duties levied or attempted to be levied, nor for any costs involved in returning any refused goods.  If the goods are returned to us then we reserve the right to refund the cost of the original goods less any carriage charges incurred both for the original despatch, and the return of, the goods.  Sew-Unique shall have no liability to you for the failure to deliver goods that you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Force Majeure
Sew-Unique shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delays in doing so or for any damage or defects to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Invalidity
If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Sew-Unique excludes its liability to you) the enforeability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Governing Law
The use of this website, the purchase of any goods, and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in London, England. 

The Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with the current Sew-Unique website prices, delivery details and Sew-Uniqe contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by Sew-Unique.

Missing or Incorrect Items in your Order
You should notify us as early as possible by email, letter or telephone call with regards to the nature of the problem.  Where items are damaged please take a digital photograph as evidence and email it/them to us. We will try and rectify the situation immediately subject to stock availability.  However in some cases we may require you to return the incorrect item(s), initially at your expense.  We will of course refund you any return carriage or postal charges upon receipt of the goods.  Returns should be made by the cheapest method available and proof of posting should be obtained.

Note: Do not send items back by Special Delivery services or other similar methods, as we will not be responsible for refunding these additional costs.

Faulty or Damaged Goods 
In the event that you receive faulty or damaged goods you must return the goods to us initially at your own expense, together with any necessary paperwork.  You should also provide us with details of the fault.  Upon receipt of the returned items we will then examine the goods and in the event that they are damaged or faulty we will either repair or replace them at our absolute discretion.  However due to the wide range of products we supply it may be necessary for the goods to be reffered back to the maufacturing company for their expert assessment of the damage or fault.  In this event it may cause a slight delay, we will keep you notified.
